I didn't see this move coming but what happened was that I was trying out the Helix Native plugin and started comparing it against my Bias plugs.and what I heard and felt in Bias was much more realistic than Native to my ears and fingertips.
I actually sold my Atomic AmpliFire hardware recently as I'm back to using my Bias Pro platforms. I must disclose that even though I did at one point use these plugs on an iPad for travel, I primarily use all of the Pro Desktop versions of Bias for home recording. I must say, Native has a huge FX section compared to Bias FX, but to my ears and fingers, Bias takes the cake in Amp simulation.S-Gear a close second.Īnd yes, Bias Amp/FX to 'my' ears, is much better than Jam Up pro.

Well long story short, I'm back to software plugins and found my Amplifire a new home. I was so excited to get the Amplifire that I never really tested it further against the Bias software.
